Philanthropy in fashion isn’t a new concept’ the power of influence in the world of fashion has sparked many successful initiatives. As consumers become more conscious of what they are buying, more fashion brands are using their platform to raise awareness about critical causes and to support initiatives in health and wellness.

October marks breast cancer awareness month and Cupshe, a brand known for its fashion-forward designs and comfortable lingerie, has pledged to donate one hundred percent of its October profit to a foundation that supports early detection of breast cancer.

Cupshe’s initiative to support cancer research also aligns with the brand’s mission and commitment to support women’s health. It is important to understand why early detection is crucial when we talk about breast cancer. As per recent research, the survival rate has increased up to 99% if breast cancer is detected at an early stage. Yet access to early detection is a challenge to many communities. It is pivotal to bridge the gap, particularly in under-served communities, by providing resources for awareness, screening, and development of new detection technologies.

Founded in 2015, Cupshe is more than just about its vacation lifestyle clothes and lingerie. The brand is well-known for its commitment to inclusivity, body positivity and use of recycled fabrics for its garments, and so much more. It has continuously supported women's empowerment. Cupshe’s design speaks comfort, self-love, and confidence for all body shapes. With this charitable endeavor, Cupshe is now reaffirming its goal to support women in not only how they look but also how they live.

Cupshe “Surviving to Thriving” campaign for breast cancer awareness is all about the shared stories from three different cancer survivors at various stages of life, highlighting the message of hope, resilience and life after the altering disease. Three amazing women who survived the disease at the ages of 20, 27, and 41 walked the runway in Cupshe’s Miami swim week ’24 and shared their stories in support of campaign. Christine Handy, one of these models, who had a double mastectomy at the age of 41, walked the show thriving in life after the breast cancer. Cupshe proudly elevates the story of these women, showcasing the importance of body inclusivity and a hope for survivors to let it diminish your self-esteem.

From October 1st to October 31st, Cupshe will be donating 100% of its profit from collection to a breast cancer education foundation, “Know Your Lemons." The collection ranges from XS to XL size and can be shopped online at Cupshe.com or in stores. As you add items to your shopping card, make it a meaningful purchase to support breast cancer awareness. With items priced in the range from $15 to $55, Cupshe is making it stylish and accessible to support a good cause.

Individually we are a just a drop, but together we are an ocean. By choosing to purchase from the “Surviving to Thriving Collection,” every piece is a step closer to winning the battle against breast cancer and saving lives. With more funds raised comes better research and an increase in campaigns to raise awareness about early detection of cancer. Cupshe's project is a brilliant illustration of how fashion can inspire significant change. Let's join hands to support a cause that can save countless lives as you upgrade your personal style.
